What is the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)?

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a UK Government initiative designed to help homeowners switch from fossil fuel heating (like gas, oil or LPG) or electric heating to low-carbon systems such as air source heat pumps.

If you qualify, you’ll receive up to £9,000 grant toward the installation applied upfront, so you don’t need to claim it back later. We handle the whole process for you, from checking eligibility to submitting the application.

What our clients say.

Real experiences from homeowners who’ve trusted us to power their homes, cut costs, and go green, with expert support every step of the way.

How Does an Air Source Heat Pump Work?

Think of it as a reverse fridge. Instead of removing heat, it brings it in. Using a small amount of electricity, an air source heat pump transfers natural heat from the outside air into your home to warm your radiators, underfloor heating, and hot water.

If your property is classed as a self-build or custom build, such as a barn or chapel conversion, you may still be eligible for the grant. The application is slightly more involved, but we’ll manage it for you. We’ve helped many self-builders successfully claim a grant of up to £9,000.
